The 22-year-old hooker has spent the 2026 campaign on loan with the North Yorkshire side during their debut Super League season, making 26 appearances for Mark Applegarth’s team and gaining valuable first-team experience.
Balmforth, who has already made 30 senior appearances for the Black & Whites since making his debut in 2022, will return to West Hull for pre-season training in November.
